High Cross Field Archers

Near Chedworth, Cirencester 


   The woods are  close to Chedworth Roman Villa.

The beautiful deer-forest site is traditional English Hazel and Ash mature standing trees with old coppicing. There is some adjoining maturing coniferous planting.

There's a short walk through the wood from the new parking area to the muster site and we can find spaces for a few cars closer by for those that need them.

As you can see from the pics, this is a beautiful piece of woodland where the sun always shines!? :o)

No Animals Were Harmed in the Making of this Website

NFAS Field Archer Club pit their wits, bows and arrows against various types of target: photographs, painted hessians and 3D models of animals. We do not condone the hunting of animals with bow and arrow, which is illegal in the UK. And while bacon butties are the standard fayre of NFAS field archers, some of us are even vegetarians...
